Residential FAQ
How quickly can I expect my plan?
We strive to deliver your Floor Plan promptly through our dedicated, fully Australian-based in-house team. Turnaround times vary based on the size of your property and are detailed in our price list—for example, a standard 3–4 bedroom home will be ready within just 2 business days following the onsite measure.
Is the Floor Plan cheaper if your Designer doesn't visit the property for measurement?
Our pricing remains consistent whether or not our Designer visits the property. However, we strongly recommend an onsite measure to capture important details beyond basic measurements, ensuring the best possible outcome for your campaign.
Why might the floor area differ from other Floor Plans I’ve seen for the same property?
We calculate area sizes in strict accordance with the Australian Property Institute's guidelines, using an accurate point-to-point data collection method. Differences in floor area sizes can still occur due to varying assumptions about external wall thicknesses, void spaces, or methodologies originally used by developers. While official survey, strata, or title documents always take precedence, it's important to recognise that other floor plans—particularly those produced as secondary services or add-ons—may not follow rigorous guidelines, potentially resulting in inaccuracies or inconsistent presentation. For this reason, we recommend relying on professionally produced Floor Plans like ours for clarity and accuracy, but always deferring to official documentation for legal or formal purposes.
How do you calculate Floor Area Sizes?
We use digital spatial overlays to calculate and categorise floor area sizes in accordance with the Australian Property Institute’s guidelines for residential property marketing and valuation. However, we do not provide supervised data and are not cadastral surveyors. Therefore, all measurements and information provided are subject to survey.
Can I make edits directly to a FloorScape Floor Plan?
We kindly request you refrain from making edits yourself to maintain the integrity and accuracy of our designs. If you require changes, simply reach out to our Studio, and we'll handle the revisions for you.
Does paying for a FloorScape Floor Plan mean I own it outright?
No—when you pay for a Floorscape Floor Plan, you receive Usage Rights for that particular marketing campaign. Ownership, editing rights, or reuse by other parties require separate arrangements. This structure makes our professional designs significantly more affordable.
